Two Great White Sharks Caught in South Evia

26/8/2024

Picture
In an extraordinary turn of events, two great white sharks were caught off the coast of South Evia on August 17th and 18th, 2024. While social media is buzzing with speculation that these captures involved the same shark, evidence strongly suggests otherwise. Here's why these sharks are two distinct individuals.

On August 18th, a large great white shark was caught by local fishermen, attracting significant attention. Just a day previously, on August 17th, another shark had been captured in another area of south Evia. The proximity of these events led many to believe that only one shark was involved.

However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that these were indeed two different sharks. A detailed comparison of the sharks' size, markings, and unique features shows significant differences. In the video linked below, I explain these distinctions, highlighting specific physical characteristics that set the two sharks apart.
