Travel in our NudiBrilliant ‘submarine’ and visit 4 locations in the world with scientists studying nudibranchs. Learn where to find them, their unique biology, how they evolved beyond having a shell and what we can do to help protect them. Has nudibranchs ever been so celebrated? We hope you enjoy this ‘edutainment’ call.
As the ocean’s version of ‘canaries in the coalmine’ we can look to nudibranchs to tell us about the health of the ocean. And let’s be honest, it’s not looking great for our nudibuddies. The oceans and coral reefs they call home are declining, and if we don’t take action, we will lose them and nudibranchs completely by 2100. This was a truly international call, with not only our scientists from Greece, Spain, Canada and Indonesia, but other contributors to this call are from New Zealand, Australia, UK and USA.
