One of the research i am conducting about wild boars is to find short-term and cheap solutions for farmers and everyone else who don't want wild boars to destroy their crops or go inside an area. To do that, i am doing various experiments. One of those is to use a cheap tape red-white color (in that case i used a "fragile" tape). As you can see in the video the tape is still uncut (for over 20 days) and the wild boars are still afraid of them and they don't pass through but they are going around of the tape. The experiment hasn't finished yet, but still need to find for how long the wild boars will afraid the tape and what will they do after they won't afraid it. More details on the upcoming research paper when that experiment ends. But you can read more on the Researchgate project as the log will updated it occasionally: https://www.researchgate.net/project/Wild-boars-Research. |
